Sitting pretty

Brecklyn has been sitting up (with out toppling over) for about a week now. Just now blogging about it but it is so cute!

I thought this picture was WAY too cute, I love the facial!

She gets really exctied and gets to play with her toys in a whole new way now!

Christmas Eve

We always have our family parties on Christmas Eve for both sides of my family. We had alot of fun this year! This is Kennedie listening to Rio read the Christmas story from the Bible. He did a good job :)
Heres Kennedie on Santas lap at Grandma Weezies house. She saw him SO many times this year and everytime she ran up to him jumped on his lap and talked his ear off...so cute!

We enjoyed both family parties. Chrismas Eve is my favorite day, I love seeing both sides of my family all in one night!

The dance recital.

Ok so I dont have pictures of the recital just a video and my camcorder isn't hooked up to my new computer so I will just tell you about it. When we got there she was SO excited! Running around all over the place, at one point I couldnt find her and when I did she was down in the pit shadowing Susan (the dance teacher), so funny! Then they called all the dancers to the stage to warm up. So I took her up there and she got nervous. "Mom there are too many friends up here" she said, and to top it off they were testing the sound. So I had to try all sorts of ploy's to get her to stay up there and then I dissapeared, hoping she would be ok after I left.

Finally it was her classes turn. They were bringing them all out but where was Kennedie? We couldnt see her! Then she came trudging out from behind the curtain with her arms folded. One of the teachers done everything she could to try to get her to dance but she wouldn't, at one point she even sat down. Then the dance was over and what does she do as she walks off stage?? She started WAVING at the croud! Like she hadn't just thrown a fit on stage, I couldnt stop laughing!

Then it was time for her to go get her trophy and when they called her name she LEAPS across the stage like a little Ballerina...She is so funny. I am so proud of her though. It was her first time at something like this, I knew she would get nervous I am just proud of her for getting up there at all! I think my mom has pictures of the recital so watch her blog for them...

Heidi Klum look out!

So I was browsing through my photos and realized that my Kennedie is a model! Here's her portfolio...

She has ALWAYS loved the camera. When she was just one I was getting my bridals done by Jamie, we put her is a few and she was just hamming it up! I remember Jamie saying how fun she was to photograph now lol! What a beauty!

I Finally caught the fish!

Isn't that so cute? She does it all the time, it cracks me up. I have never seen a baby do that before. What a joy she is!

Christmas Nazi??

Ok so not only has my husband dubbed me the "Pet Nazi" but now I am the "Christmas Nazi" as well. I am EXTREMELY particular of the things that decorate my house. Chritmas included! I have O.C.D. when it comes to things matching and being even so I cant let them decorate my tree with stuff only the decorations I made (and spray painted) to match. It's all Red silver and black. YES I said BLACK for Christmas, but it really does look pretty.
He thinks I am insane I spray paint EVERYTHING to match, even the smelly pinecones. Maybe I am....

BUT I am not entirely heart less, this is Jason and Kennedies tree that they decorated together with ANYTHING they wanted. Kennedie LOVES having a tree in her room, win win right??

Happy Birthdays!

We celebrated two birthdays yesterday! My daddy's 51st and Brecklyn's 6 months! We went down to dinner at my daddy's, Patti cooked a great dinner and we had a really good time! I can't BELIEVE that my Little Baby Lu Lu is 6 months?? Say it isnt so!! Love you both tonz!!

Whats Breckie Lu been up to??

It's been so busy around here with other blogging topics that I have been neglecting Lu. So here is a post all about our baby Brecklyn and what she has been accomplising.

Well she has been rolling over for awhile now, but lately (only at Grandma Weezies and only when she thinks we arent looking) she has been going full cirlce. She'll roll for like three feet it's pretty funny!

She is kinda starting to sit up, she topples over but at least she is trying. She does the cutest fishie face (thats impossible to get on camera), she has the most contagious giggle and last but not least...she has TWO teeth! I was waiting to blog about them until you could see them when she smiles but apparently I thought teeth grew way faster than they do. You can see them but not on a camera but anyway she is such a joy!

Dance Recital

Kennedies first dance recital is December 22nd at the High School auditorium I think at five but I am not sure. If you want to come e-mail me and I will get you the time.
